Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti was born in Persia where he spent his formative years. Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti's Dargah is a hive of activity all throughout the year. Daily quawwali performances and recitals are a common sight at the Dargah. Moreover, the peaceful ambience that prevails here is something that touches the very soul and makes visitors go back time and again. One of the best times to visit the Dargah is during the annual Urs festival when the whole of Ajmer wears a look that is sure to fascinate any beholder.
